Tim Yarrow
Diveshack UK Director, PADI Instructor, RAID Instructor, SSI Instructor
In 1992, whilst travelling with my brother Simon, we got the opportunity to learn to dive in Hawaii. Chuck our instructor was a PADI Course Director and his knowledge and passion for diving and marine life was incredible. From the start, we realised we were being taught by someone quite special.
When deciding to become instructors, we agreed we would embrace the essence of Chuck and teach divers who are both confident in the water and have a passion for observing and preserving the delicate marine ecosystem.
I have now been teaching for 28 years and have had the privilege to dive and work in some of the most beautiful parts of the world, with some of the most amazing dedicated people.
Craig Stevenson
RAID and PADI – Technical Trimix instructor
Likes diving in all forms from shallow reefs to deep dark wreks but really loves the adventure that comes with expedition style diving. There is something about decending 100+m into the darkness, not knowing what you’re going to find with the sound of your breathing the only thing breaking the silence.
David Wheelhouse
PADI – Master Scuba Diver Trainer
I have been lucky enough to have been diving for 25 years which has allowed me to travel the world and meet new friends. I started my diving journey in New Zealand and Australia but returned to the UK where I started my professional diving career, spending several years becoming a speciality instructor. My main diving passion has been wreck diving and I have been able to dive many of the wrecks in the Red Sea and Scapa Flow.
I joined Dive Shack UK in 2019 where I share Tim’s passion of developing new divers to a high standard.
Our Lead Diver is a world record breaker!
Done in 2002 whist working in South Africa as a promotional idea for a new dive centre I worked for, 3D Dive, whilst raising money for the South African Lifeboat Association.
The previous record was set in 1986 and was 8 ¾ days but we set the target of 10 days – we smashed it 🙂
