RAID Trimix Decompression Diver

The RAID Trimix Decompression diver course  is an entry-level technical diving program designed for divers who wish to extend their depth limits and enhance their technical diving skills. This course focuses on the use of advanced decompression techniques and introduces divers to the principles of staged decompression diving.

Course Overview

– Maximum Depth: Divers can dive to a maximum depth of 45 meters (145 feet).

– Decompression: The course teaches divers to plan and execute dives with decompression stops, using a single decompression gas, up to a maximum of 30 mins of planned deco.

– Gas Mixes: Divers can use air, nitrox, trimix, and oxygen.

– Duration: The course typically takes 6-7 days and divers MUST participate in at least one confined water skill session and 8 open water dives

Prerequisites

– Age: Minimum of 18 years old

– Certifications: Must be certified as a RAID Nitrox, Decompresion Diver, and Master Rescue Diver (or equivalent)

– Experience: At least 75 logged dives or 50 hours underwater

Skills and Training

– Advanced Diving Skills: Focus on deep diving and decompression diving using mixed gases.

– Safety Training: Emphasis on planning and executing deeper dives safely.

– Equipment: Use of double tanks (twin set) and a stage tank.
